Approximately 4 hours — AHA HeartCode BLS online learning must be completed beforehand.
Complete the face-to-face practical component of AHA HeartCode BLS, with instructor-guided CPR, AED and ventilation practice and skills assessment. The €145 fee covers the approximately four-hour practical session only. Complete the AHA HeartCode BLS online learning beforehand and bring your completion certificate. Successful completion of both components earns an AHA BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years.

AHA HeartCode BLS – Practical Skills Session Only
Complete the face-to-face practical component of AHA HeartCode BLS with instructor-guided practice, feedback and skills assessment.
Fee: €145 per person.
Duration: Approximately four hours.
The fee covers practical BLS training and assessment. The online HeartCode BLS licence is purchased separately.
Who is this course for?
Healthcare professionals and healthcare students who have completed the AHA HeartCode BLS online learning and need the practical component. Suitable for initial training or renewal of BLS certification.
Before attending
Complete the AHA HeartCode BLS online learning and bring your online completion certificate.
You may complete the online learning through Immediate Care Training or another provider. If you are unsure whether your online course meets the requirement, contact us before booking.
What you will practise
- Recognition of cardiac arrest and activation of emergency help
- High-quality CPR for adults, children and infants
- One-rescuer and two-rescuer BLS skills
- Safe and effective AED use
- Rescue breathing and bag-mask ventilation
- Management of choking in adults, children and infants
- Teamwork and communication during resuscitation
Training and assessment
Practise using training equipment with instructor guidance and feedback. Successful completion requires demonstration of the required AHA BLS practical skills.
Certification
Successful completion of the AHA HeartCode BLS online learning and required practical assessments earns an official AHA BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years.
Online learning alone does not award the BLS Provider eCard.
Other booking options
If you have not yet completed the AHA HeartCode BLS online component, you can book our HeartCode BLS – Online Learning Only (€95) course separately. You must successfully complete the online learning and obtain your completion certificate before attending the practical skills session.
Alternatively, if you need both components, our HeartCode BLS blended package costs €195, including the online licence and practical skills training and assessment.
Our HeartCode BLS + Anaphylaxis package costs €245, including the online licence, BLS practical session and face-to-face Anaphylaxis Management.
