The course covers assessment of the need for an advanced airway, pre-oxygenation strategies, advanced airway insertion, confirmation of correct placement, troubleshooting and ongoing patient monitoring. Using adaptive learning technology, participants can study at their own pace. Once booked and provided with an access code, they can begin without waiting for a scheduled course date. No classroom attendance is required.

• Nurses: 0.50 ANCC contact hours
• Paramedics/EMS: 0.50 CAPCE Advanced CE hours
• Physician Associates: Up to 0.25 Category I hours through AAPA credit acceptance
• Nurse Practitioners: AANP accepts qualifying AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™

Accreditation period: 19 October 2025 – 18 October 2028.

This is a self-directed online learning module. No separate practical skills assessment is required. Completion does not award an ACLS Provider eCard.

Recognition towards professional CPD requirements in Ireland or the UK is subject to the relevant professional body's requirements.
