Course Content:

• 1-Rescuer CPR and AED for Adult, Child, and Infant: Learn the techniques for performing CPR and using an AED when you are the sole responder.
• 2-Rescuer CPR and AED for Adult, Child, and Infant: Understand the coordination required for CPR and AED use when working with another rescuer.
• Bag-Mask Techniques for Adult, Child, and Infant: Gain proficiency in using a bag-mask device for ventilation across different age groups.
• Critical Concepts of High-Quality CPR: Understand & apply the essential components that make CPR more effective and increase the chances of survival.
• Differences Between Adult, Child, and Infant Rescue Techniques: Learn the specific modifications needed for rescuing individuals of different ages.
• Key Changes in Basic Life Support: Stay updated with the latest protocols based on the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
• Relief of Choking for Adult, Child, and Infant: Develop the skills to effectively relieve choking in victims of all ages.
• Rescue Breathing for Adult, Child, and Infant: Learn the proper techniques for providing rescue breaths in various scenarios.
• The American Heart Association Chain of Survival: Understand the crucial steps in the survival chain that can improve outcomes for cardiac arrest victims.

Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive certification from the Irish Heart Foundation (IHF) and the American Heart Association (AHA). Certification has a 2-year duration before retraining is required.
