HMIMMS (The Hospital Response) is a well-established course available for anyone who may have a role in the management of a major emergency/incident from a hospital perspective.
The 1-day HMIMMS Team-Provider course focuses on the key operational roles that clinical and non-clinical staff may have to take during a major incident
Objectives
• Understand the definitions and classifications of Major Incidents/emergencies
• Describe the nature and management of the major incident/emergency response
• Recognising the the clinical/non-clinical support needed for major incidents/emergencies in the hospital setting
Successful completion is awarded with certification from the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG) UK.
